The Economics Department is mainly based on economics and business subjects. It entails the study of subjects like Commerce, Accounts and Entrepreneurship which together deals with the day-to-day life situations of people.
A team of highly qualified and competent staff of four mans the department. These include: -
- Mrs Kironde Grace
- Mr. Kibuuka Kiguli
- Mr. Mugenyi Jonathan
- Mr. Buluma James
The department together with its student's arm of the Economics and business club organises activities like seminars, quizzes and business talks. This is done to inculcate interest and enthusiasm among the students.
Ndejje's good relationship with the outside world has benefited the department so much that the department is normally invited to participate in events of national concern. For example recently our club was invited to participate in the annual Joseph Mubiru Memorial Lecture at Resort Beach Munyonyo. The department is in the process of opening up a business corner in the Ndejje School annual magazine.
