Kabalega House
This house was named after the great Bunyoro Kitara King, called King Kabalega who fought tooth and nail to resist colonialism in the early 20th century. Kabalega house has the right to stand tall and command respect from all corners of Ndejje Senior School and Luwero at large.
With a population of about 147 members, kabalega house popularly known as "Kabzo" is a giant in all school activities, all thanks go to the great leadership provided by the House Masters/Mistress, prefects, mayors and above all the almighty God.
The junior and senior house prefects together with the mayors are charged with keeping law and order in the house, and supervising house work and school activities. They also act as a bridge between the administration and school fraternity.
Kabalega House has been a conqueror in all aspects of school life including academics, producing bursary holders term-in and term-out. Sports are a natural talent manifested by members of Kabablega.
The house T-shirt which is golden yellow resembles Brazil 's soccer team uniform. Frankly kabzo has an inborn talent in soccer. Other sports like volley ball in which kabalega has held the school team for time in memorial, handball in which kazoo are the reigning interhouse champions and chess where Kabalega represents the school team on all boards, are a natural talent for the house.
One area Kabalega has never faltererd in is cleanliness, as they say, "Godliness is next to cleanliness", Kabalega has a record (yet to be broken) in being the most clean house in the school. As a reward, kabalega has received goats regularly than they can remember as a token for the hard work.
The achievements kabalega has put under its belt are too numerous to list. Among the most outstanding though is coming out victorious in the 2005 sports day. Once again all credit goes to the talented grant sons and daughters of Kabalega and God the almighty.
Kabalega has kept up its motto...."Desire to Excell" indeed we have excelled.
Bravo Kabalega House.
