Mathematics Department
On behalf of the members of the mathematics department, I wish to extend the pride and honour we have in Ndejje Senior School .
The Mathematics department is mainly based on the mathematics subject, but it brings together unrelated aspects of what would otherwise have been independent subjects in both Arts and Sciences. For example, it includes aspects like biology, chemistry, Agricultural sciences, Physics, History and the like. It is manned by a team of six competent and devoted members namely:

- Ms. Nalwadda Christine
- Mr. Kijjambu Fred
- Mr. Nyakoojo James
- Mr. Ssesanga Medi
- Mr. Bitamara Fred
Through this department, the members are able to learn more about how mathematics relates with the other subjects and also share from the academic point of view on some of the processes that occur in everyday life.
The department is in the process of setting up a mathematics room with teaching and visual aids.
The department together with the mathematics club organise internal and external seminars, quizzes, and discussions on class basis.
Recently the department had an academic trip to Makerere University for a national mathematics contest, and then an awards ceremony to the best contestants. This was both educative and adventurous as well as refreshing.
The department with the assistance of the administration sponsors teachers for seminars, conferences and workshops to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process.
